As I’m sure many of you know, November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. I’ve signed up for it for the first time this year. The goal: write a 50,000 word novel in one month. Will I make it? With the pace of my life, chances are slim. Will I give it my best effort? You’d better believe it!
Now, I’ve already outlined my story, written up character sketches, and done my research. As long as we have power on November 1st (I currently have the Weather Channel on as Hurricane Sandy approaches), I should be good to go. If you’ve never done NaNoWriMo before, check out their website here.
Do any of you NaNo veterans out there have advice for a first-timer like me?
