Blog Tour: Approaching the Craft of Writing

One of my fellow authors from MuseItUp Publishing, Mary Waibel, sent me this list of questions to answer and pass on to other authors. The purpose? To learn how various authors approach their craft. So, here we go!

What are you working on right now? The third and fourth books in the José Picada, P.I. series. Yup, that’s two books at once!

How does it differ from other works in its genre? The José Picada books are paranormal mysteries. They vary from the norm in that they are chock full of humor. 🙂

Why do you write what you do? I love mysteries. I love supernatural stuff. And I love humor! It just made sense to put them all together.

How does your writing process work? This series is co-authored by my brother, David Fraser. One of us works on the manuscript for however long inspiration strikes, then passes it back via email to the other. It’s a really fun way to write! When Dave is in possession of our current work-in-progress, I either write something solo or work on the never-ending task/joy of promotion!

You can read Mary Waibel’s answers to these questions on her blog.

Check out these terrific authors, some of my MuseItUp colleagues! Their answers to the above questions will be posted next week:

Multi-genre author J.Q. Rose.

YA Fantasy author Eric Price.

YA Fantasy author James Crofoot.

Aha! So this is how it works. Thanks for inviting me to the blog tour for next week. Two books at once! That’s a lot of juggling.
